At Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Depew, his diligence is well-noted, according to his teacher, Debbie Szczepanski.

The first-grader “takes a lot of time when he does his work,” she said. “He’s one of the last ones to finish because he’s taking so much time.”

Taxpayers in the West Seneca Central School District passed the 2012-13 budget on Tuesday by more than a 2-1 margin. Residents also supported a bus-related proposition while returning both incumbents to two seats on the Board of Education.

Depew Union Free School District residents gave their superintendent a vote of confidence on Tuesday.

By a vote of 629 to 267, residents approved Superintendent Jeffrey Rabey’s $37.4 million budget.
