A group of males gave a police officer the middle finger before heading into a Walden Avenue hotel. Police advised a large party in the hotel.

A Cleveland Drive female reported that she was unable to get in touch with her snowplow service. When she went to the house, also on Cleveland Drive, she found the mail backed up, and the snowplow driver wouldn’t answer the door.
A Fradine Drive male said he and his 7-month-old child were locked out of the house by the landlord, who yelled at the complainant for ringing the doorbell.

Wednesday, Jan. 18
A newspaper deliverer reported being followed and videotaped by someone in a gray van on Eastland Parkway.
A Euclid Avenue resident reported receiving letters from jail in violation of an order of protection.
A Meadow Place male reported that someone stole his antique iron fence that was lying in his backyard.
A Tamark Court male called police because he didn’t want his brother-in-law to live there. The complainant’s wife did want the brother to live there, so he stayed.

Thursday, Jan. 19
A load of bricks was dumped on Transit Road.
A Floreis Court female reported that a neighbor’s 11-year-old son got off the school bus and urinated on the front lawn. Police attempted to advise the child’s mother, who was reportedly “not receptive.”
Traffic was disrupted on French Road by a dog “relieving itself” in the middle of the road. The dog was returned to a Grand Prix Drive residence.
Police advised a Louise Drive family after receiving a complaint that the 17-year-old son was “out of control.” The male was reportedly slamming his fist on the counter, yelling and had thrown himself on the hood of his mother’s car. Police reported that the mother was “not capable of handling” the male. The male was sent to his room for the night.

Friday, Jan. 20
Police attempted to serve a warrant on a Haller Avenue resident, but the male was incarcerated on a separate robbery charge.
The landlord of a Rossler Avenue residence reported that the persons living in an apartment are not the people on the rental agreement and that the original renter had moved out. The landlord wanted the people in the apartment removed.
A Union road resident reported being scammed out of $350 after receiving a phone call stating that she won $850,000.
A Willowlawn Parkway male reported that his friend had stayed with him for two days, then stole the complainant’s PlayStation 3 and all his DVDs.
Police responded to a call at a North Seine Drive residence where a male and female were having an argument about how the pizza was sliced.

Saturday, Jan. 21
A Linda Drive male reported that his girlfriend’s brother’s child’s mother left the child with him and has not picked up the child. He added that the mother told him she didn’t care what he did with the child. Police located the mother at a residence in Buffalo. She said she would pick up the child but asked for a police escort, since she doesn’t “get along” with the complainant.
The mother of a male who was struck in the face by his child’s mother asked police to come to a Kaufman Road residence. The male said he could not call the police, because he was too upset, so he had his mother call. Police reported that both parties harassed each other and that both were asked if they wanted to prosecute, but both declined.
A Williamstowne male reported receiving a ride home from a male whose name he didn’t know, but thought he lived in another apartment. The complainant said the neighbor refused to return the complainant’s wallet. The property was returned.
A Currier Street female reported that a male has been writing messages in the snow on her car while she is at work and leaving presents for her at her home. She said she does not know the male and requested a checkpoint.

Sunday, Jan. 22
Police responded to a disturbance call at a Preston Road residence where a male and female had been arguing for an hour and slamming doors. The argument was over getting a child ready for church.
A motorist outside a Harlem Road gas station reported that the pumps were open but the building was locked up and there was no clerk inside. Police were unable to raise a keyholder. Police also found a gas leak from one of the pumps.
