Army Spc. Joshua Donovan is returning to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after being deployed to Afghanistan serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Donovan, a practical nurse with the 1982nd Forward Surgical Team based in Niagara Falls, has served more than four years in the military. He is the son of Randolph Donovan of Ideal Street, Buffalo, and Michelle Donovan of Cheektowaga. He is a 2004 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School.
