Mary Queen of Angels holding open house
Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School will hold its annual open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the school, 170 Rosewood Terrace, off George Urban Boulevard in Cheektowaga.
Highlighting the open house event will be private tours of the school, which will provide guests an opportunity to visit the science lab, computer lab, music and art rooms, and see SMART Board demonstrations, student projects and more. Refreshments will be served. Guests will also have an opportunity to meet students, teachers and the school’s principal, MaryAlice Bagwell.
Mary Queen of Angels attracts students from Cheektowaga, Sloan, Buffalo, Depew, Amherst, Williamsville and West Seneca. The school offers an affordable after-school program, hot breakfast and lunch programs, Spanish language lessons beginning in kindergarten, numerous sports teams, clubs and extracurricular activities, and a strong and supportive Home School Association.
The Mary Queen of Angels Pre-K is a full-day program for 3- and 5-year-olds with a three-day or five-day option. Universal Pre-K, for 4-year-olds, is offered mornings and/or afternoons, Monday through Friday.
Mary Queen of Angels recently received the certificate of accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
Tuition and financial aid packages are available to families who qualify, and details will be available during the open house event.
