No cause found in hotel meth lab complaint

A Glenwood Court male reported that a neighbor was yelling while playing Xbox and preventing the complainant from sleeping.
A Davidson Drive male believed a neighbor had hacked into his computer and was watching him through the webcam. The complainant wanted the neighbor advised.
Police separated a male and a female on Concord Drive when the female allegedly began harassing the male as he was trying to get his daughter off the bus. The male told police the female is not supposed to have any contact with the daughter. Police advised the woman that if she kept it up, she would be arrested.
A male was thrown off a bus at Thruway Plaza for being intoxicated, rude and threatening to other passengers.

Tuesday, Jan. 24
The manager of a Broadway business reported that an employee stole $645 worth of lottery tickets on Saturday and that it was captured on surveillance video.
A spray-painted dog was found on Alexander Avenue.
A female took photos of employees and a computer screen inside the Julia Boyer Reinstein Memorial Library on Losson Road before driving off.
A Concord Drive male reported that his son was “high or intoxicated and acting wild.” The two had an argument over a card game.
A guest in a Walden Avenue hotel reported that people in a nearby room might be setting up a meth lab. Police found a female and three children and reported that there was no cause for the complaint.

Wednesday, Jan. 25
Police received a call from a male who said he has not spoken to his daughter in more than a year. He said the last he heard, she was working as an overnight cleaner at a Broadway business and wanted police to find her and ask her to call him.
A 42-year-old St. Lucian Court female had a ring stuck on her finger and needed it cut off.
A Lemoine Avenue female reported that her grandson was beaten up by a group of students from John F. Kennedy High School and said she found out about it because other parents saw the video of the fight on a computer.
An employee of a Transit Road store reported that a group of youths threw a jar of peanut butter at a cooler, damaging it.

Thursday, Jan. 26
Police checked on an East End Avenue family after receiving a concerned call from the children’s school that the youths smelled like “cat urine.” Police reported there was no cause.
The manager of a Thruway Plaza Drive business reported that a female was throwing things around and threatening to come back and harm the manager. The manager told police the female became upset because the store would not lease to her. A previous time, the store had to repossess the product.

Friday, Jan. 27
A Melody Lane female reported that two men were outside staring at her. Police determined that the complainant was the problem and “strongly advised” her to go to sleep.
The friend of a neighbor did doughnuts on the lawn of a Euclid Avenue resident.
A Losson Road resident reported a neighbor dispute after hearing several people arguing, saying it sounded like people were being thrown around the apartment. The disturbance turned out to be a verbal argument between a young teenager and a 7-year-old child.

An anonymous complainant reported that three people were “blowing coke” in a car on Genesee Street.
An intoxicated Hillwood Drive male was throwing beer bottles “all over” his house.
A Garden Village Drive female called a female neighbor and demanded $2,000, or she would “tell everyone” things about the complainant.
A Walden Avenue male reported that the landlord in the upper apartment and a neighbor were screaming at him. Police reported that the complainant sounded intoxicated and the male admitted to having been drinking.
An Arthur Mussara Parkway male reported that his wife left him for two months to go work for the carnival, leaving him to take care of two children. The male wanted police to file abandonment charges.

Sunday, Jan. 29
Police responded to a complaint of a semi truck parked in a Genesee Street parking lot and left running all weekend. Police advised the complainant that if they found any law prohibiting this, they would go back and handle it.
Police arrested the driver of a Ford Bronco that was doing doughnuts on Federal Avenue and struck a fire hydrant.
An employee of a Transit Road store reported that a customer tried to pay with “fake” $2 bills and left. The employee didn’t realize it was legal tender.
A town plow hit a car on Davidson Drive.
