Death Notices

WIECZOREK, Gloria (nee Kaiser), of Cheektowaga, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. Mrs. Wieczorek is survived by two children, Jo Ann and William; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund, and three children, Beverly, Bonnie and Richard. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 11 from Christ the King Church. Arrangements were made by the Urban-Amigone Funeral Home Inc.

EVELT, Jutta L. (nee Block), of Cheektowaga, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017. Mrs. Evelt is survived by her husband, Wilhelm “Willi”; three children, Cynthia, Richard and Doreen; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 16, at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 4125 Union Road, Cheektowaga. Arrangements were made by the Dietrich Funeral Home Inc.

SMITH, Sherilyn E. (nee Evans), of Cheektowaga, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017. Mrs. Smith is survived by three children, Joshua, Jacob and Jeremiah; two grandchildren; and her former spouse, Robert J. A funeral service was held on Feb. 14 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Arrangements were made by the Dietrich Funeral Home Inc.

DOBIESZ, Melissa A., of Derby, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. Ms. Dobiesz is survived by one child, Mason; her parents, Nancy Bugl and Robert Dobiesz; and five siblings, Kristin, Marilyn, Colin, Mark and Jennifer. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 14 at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church. Arrangements were made by Amigone Funeral Home Inc. WOLF, William F., of Cheektowaga, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2017. Mr. Wolf is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; four children, Julie, William, Jacqueline and John; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held on Feb. 14 from the Hedstrom Baptist Church. Arrangements were made by the Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

MALONEY, Michael J., of Cheektowaga, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017. Mr. Maloney is survived by his wife, Ellyn; three children, Jenny, Mary Beth and Colleen; and nine grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 11 at Christ the King Church. Arrangements were made by the Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home.
