SPCA story time

This story hour presented by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is filled with stories, songs and games. Join in the fun at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16. The program is for children ages 3-5. Space is limited, so call or stop by the library to reserve your spot.

Craft hour with Cheektowaga Y.E.S.

Enjoy an hour of themed crafts with the Cheektowaga Y.E.S. volunteers at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24. The program is for children ages 3-5. Call or stop by the library to register.

Lego Explorers’ Club

Head to the library for some Lego building fun and themed challenges presented by volunteers with the Y.E.S. program from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31. The program is for children ages 6-10. Call or stop by the library to register.

Seismic Shakeup

Design and build your own earthquake-proof structure and put it to the test with the earthquake simulator at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10. The program is for children ages 8-12. Call or stop by the library to register.

Cheektowaga Y.E.S. summer craft

Enjoy summer-themed crafts with the Cheektowaga Y.E.S. volunteers at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15. The program is for children ages 6-12. Call or stop by the library to register. Space is limited.

Book a Technology Trainer

This 45-minute session is designed to assist with software support or internet training. Only three sessions are available, from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 26. The training sessions are designed for adults. Call or stop by the library to register.

Toxin-Free Life with Oil Essentials

Learn to identify the hidden toxins in your home and discover natural substitutions and simple do-it-yourself solutions at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31. Call or stop by the library to register. Space is limited.
