Catholic Health to hold health expo

Catholic Health is sponsoring a free health expo, featuring medical professionals, titled, “Ask Us Anything About Your Health,” from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Millennium Buffalo Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave. Topics include back and neck pain; obstetrics and delivery; healing at home; knee, hip and ankle pain; stroke care; women’s cancers; GYN surgery; heart health, arrhythmias and electrophysiology; and peripheral vascular disease. St. Andrew planning day of food, fun

St. Andrew Church, 34 Francis Ave., will hold a Polka Mass, Polish platter dinner and meat raffle Sunday, Oct. 15. The dinner runs from noon to 1 p.m., and the raffle will begin at 1 p.m., with the first drawing at 2 p.m. Dinner tickets are $15 and include admission to the “meat and more” raffle. Meat raffle tickets are $5 presale or $7 at the door. Call 892-0425 for more information.

Pulaski Association to hold dinner, raffle

The General Pulaski Association spaghetti dinner and basket raffle is set for 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Knights of Columbus Father Justin Council No. 5670, 2735 Union Road. Tickets are $9 presale or $10 at the door. Children younger than 10 pay $4. Takeout is available. Call 651-0717 for tickets. The 2017 Countess and Princess Pulaski competition will take place at 7 p.m.

Haunted house open throughout October

St. Andrew Church will hold its annual Raving Mad Haunted House every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October in the Fr. Fabian Maryanski Center, at Crocker and Gierlach streets. The all-ages haunted house runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and from 5 to 9 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger. SGTV Edelweiss to hold Oktoberfest

SGTV Edelweiss Buffalo will hold its Oktoberfest at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Knights of Columbus Father Justin Council No. 5670, 2735 Union Road. The event will feature performances by SGTV Edelweiss, music by The Auslanders, food and a cash bar. Tickets, which are $7 presale or $10 at the door, are available at Scharf’s German Restaurant and Bar, 2683 Clinton St., West Seneca, and FJ Wailand Associates, 3922 Seneca St., West Seneca. Maryvale Presbyterian plans spaghetti dinner

Maryvale Drive Presbyterian Church, at 425 Maryvale Drive, off Harlem Road in Cheektowaga, will hold a spaghetti dinner and theme tray raffle from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, with the theme tray drawing directly after dinner. Dinner includes salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Eat-in or takeout is available. The cost is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children ages 4 to 10.
