Arc Building Partners to undertake New Era Field renovations

Arc Building Partners has announced its selection as construction manager for renovations to the sideline clubs, end-zone clubs and other premium areas at New Era Field.

The multifaceted project, to be privately funded by Buffalo Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula, will include the first-ever renovation of the sideline clubs as well as major upgrades to premium areas built in the early 1990s.

“We are incredibly excited to have this opportunity to work at New Era Field, said Frank Ciminelli II, president of Arc Building Partners.

“Throughout the season, we saw the Buffalo Bills put in the hard work necessary to grind out some big wins at home. Our construction team will bring a similar attitude to this project at the stadium — doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver an exceptional final product for our clients and the fans who will enjoy the renovations.”

The renovation project ultimately aims to enhance the game-day experience for fans.

The company will complete upgrades to the sideline clubs that will help improve traffic flow and provide fans with more efficiently designed areas to congregate inside when not in their seats, according to Arc Building Partners.

For example, the bar will be moved out of the center and replaced with two service area bars at each end of the clubs. This will enhance the functionality of the space and limit congestion for ticket holders, the company said.

The construction team will also complete upgrades to the M&T Club and Goal Line Club at the end zones of New Era Field.

The project will start following the conclusion of the season and will be completed by the start of the next season.

“As we prepare for this expedited project timeline, our team at Arc Building Partners will rely on our experience with fast-track, complex projects that require collaboration and an ability to overcome challenges with ingenuity and persistence,” Ciminelli said.

“With our construction management staff and our trusted subcontractor partners, we have a track record of delivering on projects like this.”

Ciminelli and other leaders of the company have experiences in entertainment, sports and hospitality construction management, working on projects such as past work at New Era Field, Miami Valley Gaming and Hotel Henry Urban Resort Conference Center.

Arc Building Partners specializes in several delivery types such as construction management at-risk and design build, as well as various specific sectors including construction for mixed-use development, gaming and entertainment, hospitality, institutional and arts and cultural initiatives.

In addition, the firm works with clients that seek to achieve success early-on, while also tackling complex projects that require true partnership and innovative consulting at the inception stage in order to reduce risk and guarantee positive outcomes, the company said.
