Death Notices

PECKY, Kenneth J., of Cheektowaga, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. Mr. Pecky is survived by two children, James Pecky and Jill Willard; seven grandchildren; and one sibling, Lorry Barnas. He was preceded in death by one child, Joyce Pecky. The family will be present to receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the Amigone Funeral Home Inc., 6050 Transit Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1350 Indian Church Road, West Seneca.

PORRECA, Louise (nee Nazzarett), of West Seneca, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018. Mrs. Porreca is survived by four children, Joseph Porreca, Mary Beth Andreozzi, and James and Daniel Porreca; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ettore. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 16 at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church. Arrangements were made by the Amigone Funeral Home Inc. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

O’HARA, Michael William, of East Amherst, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018. Mr. O’Hara is survived by his parents, Francis and Susan (nee Waytena); three siblings, Francis Jr., Andrew and Emily; and his grandmother, Louise Waytena. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Northgate Community Church, 5225 Harris Hill Road, Clarence. Arrangements were made by the Amigone Funeral Home Inc.

STOKLOSA, Eugene J., of Cheektowaga, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2018. Mr. Stoklosa is survived by 11 children, Regina Cipriani, James Stoklosa, Juanita Nowakowski, Raymond Stoklosa, Dorothy Martorana, Donald Stoklosa, Rosemary Tonner, Edward Stoklosa, Judy Smith, MaryJo Courtin and Tanya Stoklosa; 25 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina (nee Witczak). The family will be present from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Amigone Funeral Home Inc., 569 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Queen of Martyrs Church, 180 George Urban Blvd., Cheektowaga.
