Judge increases bail for accused drug dealer

Town Judge Paul Piotrowski increased the bail for a man accused of dealing heroin while he awaited trial on Monday. Dellsean Hamilton, 26, of Buffalo, was arrested by Cheektowaga Police Officer Brad Hebeler on March 25 for allegedly having 145 bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana in his possession. A Buffalo man was sentenced to 90 days in jail on July 17 after he pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Quinnie Gernay, 52, was arrested by Cheektowaga police in December for shoplifting from Family Dollar on Genesee Street, according to the Cheektowaga Police Department. A town man received a five-month jail sentence on Friday after he pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving with a suspended license.
