Cruise nights set by Polish Falcons

The Depew Polish Falcons Club will hold cruise nights from 5 to 9 p.m. every Thursday now through Sept. 21. Cheektowaga residents are welcome to attend. For more information, call 684-2373.

Empire State sets info sessions

Empire State College will hold public information sessions about degree programs at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Niagara Frontier Center, Appletree Business Park, 2875 Union Road.

South Line to host chicken barbecue

South Line Fire Company will host a Krolick’s chicken barbecue from 1 p.m. until sold out Saturday, Aug. 19, as part of Summer Weekend Bash. Dinners are $10 each, and tickets can be purchased in advance. Contact Michelle Bliss at 668-8821. Drive up or eat in are available. Additionally, a car show will run all day, and Black Widow will perform at 7 p.m. under the beer tent.

Buffalo Championship Wrestling at Legion

Francis J. Donovan American Legion Post 1626, 3210 Genesee St., will host Buffalo Championship Wrestling at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 29. A limited number of VIP ringside tickets are $14, general admission is $12 and tickets for children 12 years old and younger are $8. Prices increase $2 the day of the event. For more information, call the post at 896-3346 from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lions schedule annual beef roast

The Cheektowaga Lions Club will hold its annual beef roast from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday Aug. 17, at Bowen Grove, 3925 Bowen Road, Lancaster. The beef dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Hot dogs, hamburgers, corn, clam chowder, watermelon, beer and soft drinks will be available beginning at 2 p.m. Music and prizes are also part of the event. Tickets cost $25 presale or $28 at the door. For tickets, call Dan at 685-2130.

Free gazebo concert at Senior Center

Nite Tones will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the gazebo behind the Cheektowaga Senior Center, as part of the center’s summer concert series. Picnic table seating is limited, so guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Hot dog concession stand opens at 5 p.m., and proceeds benefit the Cheektowaga Senior Citizens Foundation. In the event of rain, the show will move inside.
